BROW LIFT & FOREHEAD LIFT

Do you have wrinkles on your forehead and between your eyebrows? Do people around you tell you that you look tired or angry when you are not? An Endoscopic Brow Lift elevates and reshapes the eyebrows and reduces forehead creases. It gives you a more youthful and friendly appearance. This procedure eliminates the sad, angry and tired look. The more artfully shaped your brows are, the more open, uplifted and young your face looks. It is often the correct procedure to rejuvenate the upper eyelid area instead of upper eyelid surgery.

How is the procedure done?

A brow lift is a surgical procedure performed in our office outpatient surgery suite.

An Endoscopic Browlift is a newer techniques which allows Dr. Merheb to perform Forehead Lifting with smaller incisions therefore quicker recovery and fewer complications.

It is performed through small incisions behind the hairline. A state of the art camera is used by Dr. Merheb to shape and elevate your brows by looking at a TV monitor. This procedure is not limited to older individuals only, but it is also performed for younger individuals who have inherited a predisposition toward low and heavy brows at an early age.

How will you look after surgery?

Patients wear a head dressing for 24 hours only. Following the removal of the head dressing, a tennis head band is worn for 4 days then followed by 7 days at night only. Swelling usually resolves within 5-7 days. Faint bruising may persists beyond one week but can be easily covered by make-up or camouflaged by wearing eyeglasses. Minimal discomfort can be expected following the procedure, which can be controlled with medications prescribed by your surgeon.
