Cheek Implants

The skin over the face is analogous to a drape. The shape of the face is determined by the underlying skeletal framework. How is the procedure done?

Through a small incision inside the mouth, the surgeon carefully positions a medical grade synthetic implant over the patient's natural cheekbone to improve facial contour. Fat bulges under the eyes can be evenly draped over the implant to eliminate “ bags” under the eyes.

How will you look after surgery?

No bandage is required after surgery. Immediate results are evident. Patients experience varying degrees of bruising and swelling, which subside gradually in two weeks. Makeup can be applied immediately after surgery. Minimal discomfort can be expected following the procedure, which can be controlled with medications prescribed by your surgeon.
