How much is a cosmetic consultation?

The consultation with Dr. Merheb is complimentary. Once you have met with him to discuss the best treatment options for you, one of our treatment coordinators will provide you with a treatment plan including all fees.

How long is a consultation?

Please allow up to an hour for a comprehensive cosmetic consultation, including paperwork, consultation with Dr. Merheb and time to answer any questions you may have.

Do I need to schedule a consultation prior to receiving fillers or Botox?

No. Fillers and Botox can be administered the same day as your consultation. Please allow extra time for the initial paperwork.

Will my medical insurance cover my procedure?

No. Most facial cosmetic procedures we provide are considered elective by medical insurances. Some procedures such as rhinoplasty may partially be covered by your insurance if a functional problem is diagnosed.

ORAL SURGERY

Do I need a referral to schedule an appointment?

No. Although it is efficient to have correspondence from your current treating dentist/physician, you do not need a referral to make an appointment for consultation with Dr. Merheb.

How soon can I get in for an appointment?

It is our goal to schedule patients with true emergencies as soon as possible. Often we are able to make appointments as soon as the same day. Non-emergency appointments are usually scheduled within one week.

Do I need someone to drive me home?

Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Also, patients undergoing IV sedation MUST have a responsible adult to drive them home from their appointments. If a local anesthetic (numbing agent) is all that is required, you may drive yourself home.

Do I need a consultation before I can schedule surgery?

No. We are happy to schedule consultation and surgery on the same day in most cases. Once the consultation is completed and you have spoken with our treatment coordinator, you may opt to have treatment on the same day for your convenience.

Is Dr. Merheb a Preferred Provider for my insurance?

We gladly accept most dental and medical insurance. Dr. Merheb is a Preferred Provider for many insurance plans. Our insurance department will be able to provide you with a current list. Please contact your insurance prior to your appointment to inquire about In-Network versus Out-of Network benefits.
