What brought you to specialize in the face?

My deep-rooted fascination with the beauty of the face led me to specialize in facial aesthetics. I had the privilege of completing a high-tech, specialized fellowship program in Facial Aesthetic Surgery, accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, under the guidance of Dr. T.W. Evans, a world-renowned facial cosmetic surgeon. This fellowship focused on mastering the skills required to deliver natural, long-lasting results utilizing time-tested techniques like the endoscopic browlift and deep plane facelift.

You’ve been serving Central Illinois and our community for over 20 years.
What drew you to this area?

Peoria offered a distinctive opportunity for me have an individual private practice and to be on staff at a Level 1 Trauma Center in a community where we could raise our family. Being on staff at OSF Saint Francis enabled me to utilize my skills in managing complex facial trauma cases. Additionally, I expanded my coverage to include Carle Methodist and Proctor Hospitals. I also serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.

When you’re not in the operating room, what do you do in your spare time?
When I’m not in surgery, I cherish time spent with my family and friends. My wife, Guitta, and sons, Michael and Andrew, and I enjoy participating in community events, such as the St. Sharbel Food Festival, and supporting our favorite organization, St. Jude Runs. We value traveling together and spending time outdoors hiking, swimming, biking and at the gym. Additionally, by regularly attending continuing education and conferences, I stay updated on the latest advancements in technology and procedures while maintaining connections with my colleagues and friends.
