This procedure is often a better option for rejuvenating the upper eyelid area than traditional upper eyelid surgery, as it provides a natural look without removal of skin.

Before Surgery

A medical history review, along with a thorough examination, is conducted to assess your overall health. Pre-operative instructions may include discontinuing certain medications, particularly those containing aspirin, to reduce the risk of excessive bleeding. This procedure is not exclusive to older individuals; younger patients who have inherited a tendency for low and heavy brows may also benefit from an endoscopic brow lift / shaping.

How is the procedure done?

Under anesthesia, an Endoscopic Brow Lift/ Shaping allows Dr. Merheb to elevate and position the brows through small incisions made behind the hairline addressing your specific goals. Utilizing a state-of-the-art camera, your surgeon will shape and lift your brows while watching a TV screen.

How will you look after surgery?

Patients will wear a head dressing for the first 24 hours. After this, a tennis headband should be worn for 7 days, followed by wearing it at night for an additional 7 nights. Swelling typically subsides within 5 to 7 days. Minor bruising may linger beyond one week but can easily be concealed with makeup or by wearing eyeglasses. Some discomfort is expected following the procedure, but it can be managed with medications prescribed by your surgeon.
